London Weekend

Just back from a short weekend in London. We went to Monty Python on Friday night – see previous blog post.

On Saturday we headed up to Camden to Camden Market. It was worth a visit. We only saw a little bit of it but what we saw we liked. Next trip to London will be a longer trip to Camden – very busy  and lots to see, do and eat.

Saturday night was suppose to be a trip to the theatre but we were all feeling tired so it was dinner at Canary Wharf before back to the hotel at Limehouse for an early night.

Sunday after breakfast we headed to Convent Garden. I hadn’t been for years but Eleanor had been there recently on a trip to London with her school. Terry and Matthew had never been. Again we only managed to see a small part of Convent Garden so will have to go back.

We had travelled to London by train – Friday was with East Coast but Sunday was with Virgin Trains from Euston station – a trip up the west coast stopping at nearly every station!
