The Events is a new play by David Grieg (Dunsinane), staring Neve McIntosh as Claire, Rudi Sharmalingham as The Boy (plus other parts), Emily Leather as Repetieur and featuring a local choir at each performance. The night I saw this the choir were Coroedina – local chamber choir.

The play asks how far forgiveness will stretch in the face of atrocity. A well acted interesting new piece with an excellent soundtrack.

Both actors are amazing. The choir add to the performance. They have learned the songs but have not seen the play so their reaaction adds to the performance.

Traverse doesn’t disappoint. A full house for a preview. Go and see, a very quick 90 minutes.
