Third day of the staycation and due to the weather we decided to have a quiet Sunday. The day was spent pottering about the house catching up on things and generally relaxing. Early evening we went out to Ocean Terminal for dinner and a movie – Pizza Express and Vue Cinema.
Pizza Express nothing special, was very busy teatime on a Sunday with families with small children. Food good but service slow.
We went to see ‘Now you see it’ at the cinema. We had seen a trailler for it awhile ago and thought it looked interesting but had never got round to going to see it. We were all glad we went. It starts off as abit of a film about magic but ends up as a good old caper film with twists and turns. A very enjoyable film which I suspect we’ll get on dvd to check out some of the locations they used to film in New York. I would suggest seeing this film.
One of the reasons we had wanted to see this film is we thought they used a place we had seen while in New York – 5 Ptz – which is not in Queens but in Long Island City. They did and it looks amazing in the film – check out my previous post on this place.
