Trip to Glasgow

We had a lazy morning and were unsure of what to do on Thursday as it was pouring with rain, so decided to go to Glasgow to see the new Riverside museum. When we got there the car park was full and none of felt like walking in the rain so we decided to head to Kelvingrove museum.

After lunch in the museum restaurant we went for a wander round. The problem was that we had only been at the museum at Christmas and we had just been twice to the newly opened Museum of Scotland. We did discover some things we hadn’t seen before. The highlight for me was seeing Dali’s painting of Christ of St John of the Cross.
