Royal Mile

Today was a late start and we decided just to have a wander round part of the Royal Mile. We used a Geocache as our guide to finding some interesting parts of the street and nearby areas. We started at the Castle – decided to leave it for another day – and ended at The World’s End. On the way we learned something about the Royal Mile, including that John Knox is buried in the Court of Session car park. Another thing we found was the interesting array of tourist hats that are on sale in the shops of the Royal Mile as modeled in the pictures by Eleanor, Matthew and I – Terry refused to try one on.
